AGENTS.md credit and attribution
Instructions that make a coding agent name the author, keep existing credits, and re-read the files before it finishes.
Drop this file in a project as AGENTS.md. It tells the agent to credit the person who wrote the work, link their profile, repo, and commit, and put that name on the first screen of the README before the install steps. Softened wording such as “informed” or “inspired” is replaced with a plain authorship credit. Names already listed stay. Before the agent reports success, it reads the changed files again and checks the names, links, placement, and that only the credit text changed.
